welcome to your life
Up until recently I've never had a bucket list, so when we made a mini one in class, I was shocked that I had things to put down. I was so academically engrossed when I was younger that I didn't know what to want out of life. Anyway, I've come to expect a lot of things from my life, so there are many things that I want to do.
For example:
I want to skip school, spend the entire night with friends, hit the dance floor at homecoming and prom (already checked hoco off), win States, have the best tennis season, have a boozy boba drink , dress up for no reason, ask someone out, get into my dream school (Ross! *fingers crossed*), get to know new people, treat my family somewhere, and make it to DECA's ICDC. That's only within 12th grade. And that's definitely not all of it.

There are so many more things I want to do in college, and it is so exciting. This is why I love senior year: there's so much to look forward to. Of course, with every amazing memory I expect out of life, I'm sure I will get one just as awful. However, getting through the worst is so worth it if it means getting to experience the best.
Song of the Blog:
The title of this blog is the first line of the song "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears for Fears. I chose it because it feels like I'm welcoming a new stage of life. This song is AMAZING and I love it and have listened to it way too many times. Another favorite line of mine from that song is: "Help me make the most / Of freedom and of pleasure / Nothing ever lasts forever" because life is way too short to not do the things you want to do.
Note: The City of Music is also known as Vienna.
